Utmost Co. runs on skate culture and streetwear, and my signature project there pulled a third thread through it: baseball. I designed a collection built around the World Series, a run of commemorative emblems from 1998 to 2019, each drawn in the visual language of its own year with Utmost worked into the mark. The World Series logo has changed shape with every era, and the collection reads as a walk through that history.
Each emblem was embroidered onto a limited run of New Era fitted caps, putting the designs on an object a baseball fan and a skater might already reach for. Matching each year meant studying how the World Series mark shifted across two decades, then rebuilding that language with Utmost's own edge. The caps became collectibles, finding the point where the two audiences actually overlap.
Beyond the World Series collection, I worked across Utmost' identity, from clothing graphics and release party print to the visual language of its online and in-store campaigns. The challenge was keeping the brand's skate roots and its current direction in one voice, piece to piece.
